AXIS
Brief
To carry out a unique brand development project for Axis, the online resource for contemporary art.
Solution
BrandNew developed Axis' existing brand to add structure and clarity in the way it is communicated. Its logo was developed and given specific identity guidelines, and their core areas were given colour codes to ensure they were differentiated through a range of media.
The Axis website's functionality was improved to make the site much easier to navigate and to improve the look and feel of the site with the new identity guidelines. BrandNew also re-designed Axis stationery and marketing collateral which included leaflets, an unusual and innovative mailer and the launch event material.
Result
Navigation has improved and sections of the website that were lost in the old design now get the attention they deserve. Visitors are spending more time exploring the website and using more areas rather than small sections that they already knew existed.
Axis does so much it used to be difficult to communicate its services as one whole message but the brand development has helped to address this and has bring everything together. The new design has helped to increase awareness and recognition and communicate what Axis does much more effectively to its customers.
